My brother and I always dreamed of having our own business. And one thing always stood out: why did store-bought tortillas never taste like the homemade ones? We saw a real need for artisan-quality tortillas that tasted homemade, but were also healthier and accessible. We knew nothing about food manufacturing, but our dad had over 30 years of experience in the food industry, and when we asked for his help—he said yes. That’s how Mr. Tortilla was born. Quality over Profits. We work with artisan bakers, source the best ingredients from around the world, and use a unique overnight cooling process at carefully controlled temperatures in baskets. Unlike most tortillas, we don’t use anti-stick chemicals or artificial shortcuts. We spare no expense in sourcing every single ingredient from our sea salt to our heart-healthy avocado oil with the best quality in mind. After many years of development, we have now created the world’s first 1 carb, 15 calorie taco tortilla. Along with our mission of creating the world’s most delicious tortilla, we also made it a commitment to donate 10% of our net profits to charities and 10% to employee profit-sharing.
